Trueform are Awarded the Greater Bristol Bus Network Contract

September 2009

Trueform are delighted to have been awarded this 4 year contract to supply and erect Urban Bus Shelters and Urban Bus Stops on behalf of the Greater Bristol Bus Network Group.

The project, which is being run by Bath and North East Somerset Council, Bristol City Council, North Somerset Council and South Gloucestershire Council is a very high profile and prestigious project which is being rolled out throughout these towns and Counties over the next 4 years.

Trueform have been selected as the preferred supplier of this passenger infrastructure. The bus shelter that has been selected to be rolled out throughout these Counties is Trueform’s Legacy Shelter. The shelter’s appearance compliments the architectural landscapes and enhances the image of bus travel.

For GBBN’s urban bus stops, they have chosen Trueform’s ‘Elite Bus Stop System’. The high quality bus stop system has many characteristics including their contemporary modular design, architectural grade exterior materials for long lasting and robustness, high strength timetable cases and the ability to accept solar power and real time information at a later date if required.

The bus stops are also vandal resistant and constructed of resilient aluminium. They feature strengthened, recessed fastenings which can only be removed with specialist tools. This facilitates rapid repair and installation while maintaining the integrity of the bus stop during its life on the street.
