Trueform hold contracts with major cities for the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of premium quality, intelligent, on-street infrastructure for public transportation, active travel, intelligent mobility, smart city, low, ultra-low and zero emission, E-Mobility, clean-tech, digital display and digital advertising.

To support increasing expansion and demand for Trueform’s award winning products and services, we require a high calibre Business Development Manager to grow our bus shelter infrastructure sales division.

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships and driving sales within Local Government, PTEs and related partners. Focusing on high margin, often bespoke solutions, requires significant understanding of customer requirements and specifications in order to influence and ensure success. As such you will need to have significant experience in the sector.
You will be joining a small friendly team and work closely with a variety of highly skilled and experienced managers and directors, be hungry for success and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Develop winning strategies and participate in the preparation of proposals for prospective new business.
• Take a proactive role in closing new business opportunities and provide sales leadership.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients through effective account management.
• Promote Trueform’s designs, design and manufacturing capabilities, and assist in coordinating events.
• Collaborate with other business units to pursue opportunities for the benefit of the entire company.
• Conduct all client dealings with professionalism, integrity, and high ethical standards.
• Provide prospect reporting, forecasts, client feedback, and other necessary information for business planning.
• Utilise Client Relationship Management Database effectively.
• Develop proactive client account plans and winning opportunity strategies.
• Act as the principal client advocate for assigned clients and represent their voice in internal meetings.
• Implement appropriate screening processes for new business opportunities.

Preferred Experience:
• Previous experience in Sales/Business Development/Client Account Management, in the bus shelter sector
• Familiarity with Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) Sales processes.
• Knowledge and understanding of the local authority market and procurement.
