About the Role
 
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civils Installations Manager to join the Trueform team.
 
Based at the company’s technology, manufacturing, and installations centre in Hayes, Middlesex, the post holder will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-street civils installation activities within the department. This will involve the coordination of multiple installation teams, and a small number of sub-contractors, undertaking small-scale ‘Streetworks’ civils installation activities.
 
The successful candidate will be joining a small friendly team and work closely with a variety of skilled operatives, and experienced managers.
 
Responsibilities & Duties
Your main responsibilities and duties will include:
 
·       Supervising and coordinating all civils operatives to complete installation activities.
·       Supporting installation operatives with on-site challenges or trouble shooting.
·       Entering information into works management systems and monitoring programmes.
·       Liaising with internal departments regarding work programming and planning.
·       Supervising and managing yard and recycling activities
·       Supporting the department in completing all installation activities; on-time, within budget, and to an acceptable quality.
·       Taking responsibility for achieving and exceeding installation targets.
·       Recruiting for street work and civils labour, as required.
·       Building relations and coordinating works with subcontractors, as required.
·       Working closely with the programming and permitting team to ensure works are completed on-time.
·       Support in driving departmental efficiency and cost savings.
·       Ensuring all installation activities are in accordance with NRSWA and the Traffic Management Act.
 
Driving and Vehicle Maintenance
·       Ensuring that correct and appropriate traffic management measures are deployed.
·       Ensuring all vehicles are well maintained and presentable at all times.
 
HSQE, Quality Control, and Continuous Improvement
·       Working closely with the HSQE team to ensure activities are completed to an acceptable standard.
·       Undertaking ad hoc on-site H&S and quality audits to monitor compliancy.
·       Ensuring all quality control documentation are completed, and site photographs captured.
·       Working closely with the HSQE team, ensuring all Safe Systems of Work and adhered too for all installation activities.

Qualifications and Experience
 
We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications and experience:
 
Required:
·       Previous experience managing civils operatives within the highways construction sector.
·       NRSWA Supervisor, CSCS, and SMSTS qualifications
·       Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) along with other Asset Management software.
·       Full standard driving license.
