About the Role
To support continued growth and buoyant order intakes the company is looking to recruit a level 2 RWC (Responsible welding coordinator) to join the existing Trueform Production team. Based at the company’s manufacturing & technology centre in Hayes, Middlesex.
Reporting to the Senior Production manager The applicant will manage, coordinate and oversee the manufacturing compliance of all welding staff undertaking works on a varied range of street furniture, digital signage, wayfinding and passenger enhancement products to be supplied to our customer base both domestically and internationally.
The successful candidate will work closely with a variety of highly skilled existing staff and experienced managers, who will provide employees with the drive to succeed and the opportunity for career progression in the organisation.
Responsibilities & Duties
Your main responsibilities and duties will include:
· The RWC level 2 welding Manager must have a solid understanding of welding processes, consumables, joint design, weld types, welding imperfections, inspection techniques and quality control. It is essential they have experience in welding quality management and relevant standards such as ISO3834, ISO14731, EN1090 (part 1 & 2 ) and EN15085
· The successful applicant must have the ability to write Welding Procedure Specifications
· To co-ordinate, plan & monitor workloads of Mig & Tig welding Departments in line with committed customer completion dates, UKCA compliance and Quality standards
· Ensure all welding qualifications and coding’s are up to date and welding procedures are being adhered too, monitoring the specific material requirements and processes on the welding procedure specification
· Collect, manage and store all paperwork, quality records for Audit Purposes
· Ensure all welding equipment and consumables is calibrated and records are stored
· Monitor & Manage employee performance via performance management systems dealing with issues as and when they arise in line with company guidelines and HR processes
· To have the ability to read and understand blueprints and detailed production drawings showing excellent attention to detail.
· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced Production department
· To be able to work under own initiative or form part of a team
· Inspect and test completed welded assemblies for correct function
· Identify and Troubleshoot issues during the welding process as they arise
· Actively collaborate with Production team members to improve processes and output and improve overall efficiency
· Maintain high standards and Quality of work
· Comply with the company’s Quality and administrative policies
· Comply with the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
· Perform other ad-hoc duties or provide cover for colleagues when required.

Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications and experience:
Required:
· GCSE English and Math’s
· RWC Level 2 qualification
· Counterbalance Forklift License (preferred but not essential)
· Ability to read and understand Assembly Drawings
· Previous history in a sheet metal, fabrication & manufacturing environment
