About the Role
To support continued growth and buoyant order intakes the company is looking to recruit an additional Production Laser Programmer to join the existing Trueform Production team. Based at the company’s manufacturing & technology centre in Hayes, Middlesex.
Reporting to the Senior Production manager the applicant will programme and maintain accurate file revisions of all Lasered flat pattern templates of parts on a varied range of street furniture, digital signage, wayfinding and passenger enhancement products to be supplied to our customer base both domestically and internationally.
The successful candidate will work closely with a variety of highly skilled existing staff and experienced managers, who will provide employees with the drive to succeed and the opportunity for career progression in the organisation.
Responsibilities & Duties
Your main responsibilities and duties will include:
· To interpret blueprints, production drawings and written instructions to determine specific parts requirements and produce flat pattern laser programs for their efficient manufacture, complying to the required material, size, grade type and thickness and dimensional specifications
· To have the ability to read and understand blueprints and detailed production drawings showing excellent attention to detail.
· To program and maintain accurate file revisions of all Trueform parts using programming software (auto cad & Inventor)
· To reverse engineer parts for manufacturing.
· To make tools and templates to aid or streamline the manufacturing process
· Maintain up to date documentation or programming processes and revisions
· Monitor & expedite brought out parts from 3rd party supply chain on time to streamline manufacturing processes
· Monitor and report non conformance issues in the production department carrying out route cause analysis to avoid repeat issues
· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced Production department
· To be able to work under own initiative or form part of a team
· Identify and Troubleshoot issues during the production process as they arise
· Actively collaborate with Production team members to improve processes and output and improve overall efficiency
· Maintain high standards and Quality of work
· Comply with the company’s Quality and administrative policies
· Comply with the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures
· Perform other ad-hoc duties or provide cover for colleagues when required.

Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications and experience:
Required:
· GCSE English and Math’s
· Experience in auto Cad essential
· Experience in Inventor preferred
· Counterbalance Forklift License (preferred but not essential)
· Ability to read and understand Assembly Drawings
· Previous history in a sheet metal, fabrication & manufacturing environment
