About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Streetworks Highways Electrician to join the Trueform team.
Based at the company’s manufacturing & technology centre in Hayes, Middlesex, the post holder will be responsible for the electrical installation, condition reporting, and maintenance of a wide range of award-winning street furniture assets throughout Greater London.
The successful candidate will be joining a small friendly team and work closely with a variety of highly skilled and experienced managers, who will provide employees with the drive to succeed the opportunity for career progression in the organisation.
Responsibilities & Duties
Your main responsibilities and duties will include:
Installation of Street Furniture
• Undertaking electrical connections to new street furniture installations
• Installing a variety of new electrical equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing reactive maintenance faults
Accreditation
• Carrying out duties and responsibilities in accordance with the companies NICEIC accreditation
• Completing minor works and installation certificates upon completion of electrical installation or alteration
• Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) on street furniture assets
Operating Machinery
• Operating relevant machinery and tools in a safe manner
Quality Control and Continuous Improvement
• Ensuring compliance to all electrical standards and procedures.
• Ensuring quality of workmanship and company quality control systems are adhered to.
• Maintaining a high standard and quality of work.

Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications and experience:
Required:
• City & Guilds 2360 Level 2 Certificate in Electrical Installation (or equivalent HEA qualification)
• City & Guilds 2360 Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Installation (or equivalent HEA qualification)
• Electrical Installation Periodic Testing & Inspection, including one of the following:
o 2391-52 Level 3 Award – Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations, or
o 714 –Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (Public Lighting)
• 214 – Safe Isolation (HEA or equivalent) – to be held in conjunction with working near live systems
• 210 – Working in the vicinity of DNO/IDNO equipment including G39
Preferred:
• Temporary Traffic Management
o NRSWA 1991 (New Road & Street works Act) UNIT 01 (Signage, lighting and guarding) or
o 302.1 - Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management or rural and urban roads
• Emergency First Aid at Work
• 18th Edition: The Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018 (often C&G 2382-22)
