
Trueform Secures Fife Contract for a Third Successive Year
Trueform is delighted to announce the successful retention of Fife Council’s Bus Shelter Supply and Maintenance contract for the third year in succession through to 2010 which wil be serviced from Trueform’s Glasgow Depot.
Fife Council retender their contract each year to ensure that the communities within Fife receive the most cost effective and value for money service available of them each year. Trueform have over the past two years, since April 2007 installed nearly 100 Trueform ‘Classic’ Shelters and carried out approaching 400 routine maintenance activities as well as providing a base line service for surveys and advice on Fife Council’s Bus Shelter Stock comprising of shelters made from several manufacturers as well as wooden shelters and very much look forward to continuing and improving the service offered to Fife in the year ahead.
Trueform’s Classic Shelter range has been specifically designed to provide a cost effective low maintenance option for Local Authorities conscious of their need to provide a high quality waiting environment and boost public transport patronage.
The Trueform Classic Shelter Range is manufactured from aluminium extrusion powder coated to any RAL to BS Colour and can be fitted with a range of glazing options including solid panels as well as lighting, seat and notice boards to meet client’s requirements.
The cost effective Classic Shelter has been proven to be a very popular choice in Scotland in recent years by many local authorities including Fife, Highland, East Ayreshire, South Ayreshire, SPT and Aberdeen offering a competitive alternative to the transport industry.
In addition to this success, Trueform have in recent years partnered Fife Council in raising the profile of public Transport across the region which has seen Trueform real time information ready Metro Shelters, Information Totems and Information Cases installed in all of Fife Council’s Bus Stations and major interchanges at Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, Leven, Glenrothes and St Andrews where Price William studied.
