Trueform Digital Launches with TfL Digital Totem Installation at London’s Vauxhall Bus Station

Trueform Engineering Limited launched its new Trueform Digital division with a flagship installation for its long term customer Transport for London, London Buses (LBSL).

Trueform Digital has been working with LBSL’s Technical Services Group on the development of its corporate TFT totem product range, and has now completed the first installation at Vauxhall Bus Station.

The totem installed at Vauxhall is a 42” portrait, sunlight readable, high brightness TFT product with 3G communications. LBSL’s newly developed Digital Sign bus information content was installed, driven by Countdown 2 – an earlier project where Trueform has supplied, installed and maintains over 1,300 LED bus shelter displays.

The Vauxhall installation will soon be followed by further deployments at Hammersmith and Harrow Bus Stations.

Trueform’s Group Managing Director, Jonathan Morley, commented:

“We are delighted to have completed the installation of the first stage of this strategic project with LBSL, and to have launched Trueform Digital with such an important, long term, strategic customer. We look forward to continuing the deployment at other identified sites, and in parallel, continue with the development and production of an extended suite of digital totem products, both for passenger information, and digital out of home applications. Trueform Digital is an exciting strategic extension of the already well established Trueform Engineering business, which will position the company at the forefront of the large format, outdoor, sunlight readable, digital display market.
