Contract Award: Metro – Transport Innovation – The Supply and Installation of Digital Transport Hub Totems

Metro, the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive, has awarded Trueform the contract for the Supply and Installation of ‘Digital Totems’ at key transport hubs throughout West Yorkshire.

The anti-vandal totem structures have been uniquely designed for external public transport environments and are available with a range of optional features, including; back illuminated travel information, 42′ high brightness TfT digital displays for the display of a range of digital and real time information, digital clocks, broadband, WiFi, audio announcement, Near Field Communication tags to access infrastructure through mobile phones, help points, smart card pick up points and CCTV.

Leaders in the provision of digital and interactive travel information systems, Trueform will be carrying out this work from its Leeds service centre.
